modesign is a design studio specializing in creating and art directing editorial products —
books, newspapers and magazines, for newsstand sales or customized.

Mariana Ochs lived in New York from 1987 to 2001, having studied at Parsons School of
Design. After working at several publications around NYC, and a stint as Art Director
of Vogue Brasil, Mariana started a design company in Manhattan, at which she created
or redesigned publications and special issues for some of the main publishing houses
in Brazil and the US.

modesign is now in Rio de Janeiro, where our knowledge of content design, editorial
identity and brand development is applied towards designing publications, catalogs,
promotional materials, identity systems, books, CDs and packaging for clients in Brazil
and abroad (see our portfolio).
